Marie, Lynne, & Geoff
 Hello, Everyone!
We're still waiting for the arrival of the new baby boy.  My countdown-to-new-grandson-ometer says 1 week and 2 days!
Here's a photo of my 3 children.  Good looking kids, huh?  The pic was taken in 2009 at Lynne's HS graduation party in Music Man Square in Mason City.
The weather here has finally turned spring-like!  Most of the snow has melted and yesterday it got up to 52 degrees!  WOW!  March came in like a lion and out like a lamb!  But what a terrible lion for the whole month!
My new grandson will have the start of a wonderful library!  I've put together a nice selection for his first library collection.  (I've greatly supported the 3 area school book fairs too!)  I'm going to keep some of the books for my library for when he comes to visit.
I spent the other day with my good friend Terri A. while her husband was away at classes.  We watched Fred Astair, Judy Garland, & Peter Lawford in Easter Parade.  We just love those old movies!
I'll close by wishing you all a blessed and joyous Easter!

Questions and Answers....

I don't know why I haven't been keeping up with my blog.  Usually I enjoy doing this.  Lately I feel as heavy as the snow outside.  Not my weight (altho I am chunky) but my feelings.
And I don't know why I picked the photo at the left except it makes me smile.  I really had fun times visiting Living History Farms in Des Moines!  Tina and I are in the "1950 Kitchen."
It's March again and I'm back at the age-old question of whether to stay in Iowa or move to Kansas.  There are so many variables!  I just wish someone (God?) would slap a piece of paper down in front of me with the answer on it!
Sometimes all I want to do is sleep.  At least then I don't have to think about anything!  Maybe I sleep too much....
Well, I AM NOT a Debbie Downer!

   My most recent reads are:
     1. The Poison Diaries by Maryrose Wood with The Duchess of Northumberland
     2. The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
     3. Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr
Right now I'm reading Of Irish Ways by Mary Murray Delaney.  It's March and almost St. Patrick's Day, you know!

I'm really looking forward to meeting my new grandson.  He is due in less that a month! I plan to travel out to Colorado to see him and his parents after he is born.  I already have so many things for him....books, toys, clothes.

I'll close for now.  Have a happy day.
